Our last doe, Princess Kate, had her baby.
She was the smallest of the does, so I’m not that surprised that she was bred later than the other two. In fact, for next year, I’m going to plan to have kids around this time. The weather is a little warmer and there isn’t an icy wind cutting through the barn. Continue reading
We milked our little mommas last night for the first time. It went really well. You may remember that we had to milk Duchess after her baby (I think we will call her Lilly) because she was a little freaked out about being a mother.
And now we have one of our own!! Last year we borrowed a tractor from a friend.
